Well Gov.  Eliot Spitzer has apologized and resigned after his disgraceful encounter with a hooker.  Why hasn’t he been demonized by the media?  He was the governor of one of the most import states in the union.  Also, he has been a crusader against prostitution.  His being involved with a prostitute jeopardized the state’s well being because it puts him in a position to be black mailed by the criminals he came in contact with while ordering his hookers.

This guy should get protests for every woman’s group imaginable.  This was not a private issue as the Democrats and the liberal pundits would have you to believe.  Spitzer not only cheated on his wife, like Bubba Clinton, he broke the law and gave access to an entire state to common criminals. 

Hopefully this guy will fade away gracefully.  I know a lot of people are upset at his wife for standing by him.  If she indeed is standing by him, then that’s her choice and I don’t have a problem with that.  If she is putting up a facade for political reasons then she deserves this.
