Album Review - “Intuition” by Jamie Foxx

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all.

With my Zune Pass (a monthly subscription from Microsoft that allows you to freely download unlimited music) I love to listen to all the albums that come out each week.  I have a wide range of music that I like, so I’d like to use my blog to post reviews of artists, albums, and individual singles.  So with the introduction here’s my first review.

Jamie Foxx - “Intuition”

Label: J-Records

Collaborations with: T.I., Lil Wayne, Ne-yo, T-Pain, Fabulous, The Dream, Marsha Ambrosius

Intuition is Jamie Foxx’s third album.  His last album “Unpredictable” was a double platinum sensation.  With Intuition, I think Jamie Foxx refines his sound.  His vocals are more crisp and the beats are more “hip”.  The first release “She Got her Own” was originally to be a remix for Ne-yo and ironically includes him on the track. Its hot, and raising up the urban charts.  My favorite track so far is “Number 1″, a collaboration with Lil Wayne.  This album doesn’t have that ballot feel like unpredictable. It has more of a club feel.  However it does have it’s ballots.  “Why” ,”Weekend Lover”,  “Rainman” are a few and are all at the end of the album.  I like this one more that Unpredictable.  Other tracks that are hot and could be radio hits are; “Just like Me”  (featuring T.I) and “Blame it”  (featuring T-Pain).  Overall there’s not a bad track on the whole album.  The ballots are good, it has the new age synthesized sound and an A List of collaborators.  I highly recommend “Intuition”
